Garmin Setup

Connect your Garmin device to sync workouts and wellness data with ONWRD.

ONWRD connects directly to Garmin Connect to sync your workouts and wellness data automatically.

Prerequisites

  • A Garmin device (watch, cycling computer, etc.)
  • A Garmin Connect account

1) Connect Garmin in ONWRD

  • Open the ONWRD app
  • Go to MoreIntegrations
  • Tap Garmin Connect
  • Tap Connect
  • Log in to your Garmin account when prompted
  • Authorize ONWRD to access your data
  • It takes a few minutes for your data to start syncing

2) What data syncs?

Once connected, ONWRD automatically syncs:

  • Activities: All workouts from your Garmin device
  • Heart rate: Resting HR and workout HR data
  • HRV: Heart rate variability (if recorded)
  • Sleep: Sleep duration and quality
  • Steps: Daily step count
  • Body metrics: Weight, body battery, stress

3) Verify Connection

After connecting:

  • Your recent activities will sync within a few minutes
  • Check MoreIntegrations to see sync status
  • Your first Daily Feedback will be generated once data syncs

Troubleshooting

Data not syncing?

  1. Ensure your Garmin device has synced to Garmin Connect first
  2. Check your connection status in ONWRD
  3. Try disconnecting and reconnecting
